This weekend is for the woman who carries a lot quietly.
Finding Center Retreats was created for the trainer’s wife, ranch wife, horsewoman, business owner, mother, helper, and behind-the-scenes steady hand who shows up for everyone else and rarely gets space to simply be.
This is not a conference. It is not another place where you have to perform, impress, or have all the answers. It is a weekend of rest, honest conversation, shared meals, private lodging, guided reflection, and meaningful community.
You are invited to step out of constant performance and reconnect with yourself, with God-given strength, and with other women who understand the western way of life.
Why I Created Finding Center Retreats
For more than a year, I’ve had conversations with women throughout the western equine industry through The Trainer’s Wife podcast.
Again and again, I heard the same themes: responsibility, pressure, caregiving, business demands, family obligations, and very little space to simply be.
Finding Center Retreats grew from those conversations and from my belief that the women who support so much deserve to be supported too.
I’m looking forward to gathering around the table with you.

★★★★★ 5 — Extraordinary
Attending the Finding Center retreat was nothing short of transformative. I arrived hopeful but with no real expectations, and what unfolded over those few days far exceeded anything I could have imagined. The resort itself was breathtaking—peaceful, beautifully designed, and the kind of place where you feel your shoulders drop the moment you step onto the property.
The activities were both soul-strengthening and deeply challenging, pushing me in the best possible ways. Each session felt intentional, meaningful, and crafted to help us reconnect with ourselves. The meals and beverages were absolutely scrumptious—nourishing in every sense of the word.
But the true magic of this retreat came from the friendships and connections formed with the incredible women who attended. Sharing stories, laughter, vulnerability, and encouragement created a sense of empowerment I’ve rarely experienced. It was community at its finest—uplifting, inspiring, and unforgettable.
Hats off to Jennifer Bishop, whose vision, leadership, and heart made this retreat a class-act experience from beginning to end. Her ability to create a space where women can grow, heal, and connect is a gift, and I’m grateful to have been part of it.
★★★★★ 5 — Extraordinary
It was the perfect mix of people. There was a lot of attention to detail and all of the journals, sweatshirts, pens and everything else was included. There is just not enough room to say how satisfied I was. I look forward to the very next one and the one after, and the one after that. I felt safety in the environment of openly expressed myself and get feedback from others and felt extremely supported. I felt loved and cared for.
★★★★★ 5 — Extraordinary
Finding Center Retreats is an extraordinary experience for women in the western industry. I enjoyed the intimacy and similarities with other women we were able to experience. It was mixed with adventure and lots of relaxation, wonderful food and accommodations. The friendships I made and the discussions we had grounded me and helped me find my self back in this chaotic life style we live!
